Swedish death metal inspired Italian''s, Undead Creep, follow-up their outstanding 2009 demo with their brand new debut full-length. Death Strike - Fuckin' Death CD Pre-Order (05/24/2011)

Dark Descent Records is proud to announce the CD reissue of Death Strike's Fuckin' Death. Active from 1984 to 1985, Fuckin' Death represented one of death metal's earliest recordings. Death Strike disbanded after 1985's Fuckin' Death demo and Paul Speckmann went on to front the legendary Master. Fuckin' Death was eventually re-released in 1991 on CD and vinyl, with additional tracks, by Nuclear Blast.

The CD reissue contains the original eight tracks offered by the 1991 Nuclear Blast edition but adds four never-before-released rehearsal tracks to the mix. Additionally, the layout is comprised of an eight-page booklet featuring the intended original gold pantone color cover. Olivier "Zoltar" Badin from Terrorizer Magazine provides a foreword and the booklet contains liner notes from Paul Speckmann as well as new scans/photos.

Dark Descent Records will be releasing this soon on vinyl with two of the four bonus rehearsal tracks found on the CD version. The CD track listing is as follows:

Miasmal - Miasmal CD Pre-Orders (03/24/2011)

Pre-Order now!  This item will be released in conjunction with the vinyl release from Detest Records/Me Saco Un Ojo Records on/around April 15th.

Emerging from Sweden's underground in 2007, Miasmal instantly rose to the top of the crowded scene. Combining old school death metal with punkish riffs and a heap of d-beat, Miasmal released their demo in 2008 on Detest Records. This demo was an instant classic which led Miasmal to once again hit the studio to record a 7" EP in 2010. Shortly after its release, the 7" sold out which led Miasmal to take their show on the road, playing such fests such as NWN! Fest and Kill Town Death Fest.

Dark Descent Records is proud to announce the release of Miasmal's best work to date. Their self-titled debut full-length features eight brand new hymns clocking in at over 36 minutes. Fans of true death metal will not be disappointed as the CD version also contains the sold out 2008 demo tracks and the two tracks from the 2010 7" EP. In all, 14 tracks are contained on this release amounting to all of Miasmal's work to date. As a bonus, the first 100 customers to purchase a CD through the Dark Descent Records web store will receive a free woven Miasmal logo patch.

2011 promises to be the biggest year yet for Miasmal as they will tour the U.S. to support the new album playing stops such as Maryland Death Fest and Chaos in Tejas this summer.

New Releases! (03/08/2011)

The Adversarial - Prophetic Plain of Abyssal Revelation digipak CD and the Decrepitaph/Eternal Solstice 7" split  is available from the web store.

"Prophetic Plain of Abyssal Revelation" is housed in a six panel UV gloss coated digipak.  These will begin shipping March 11th.  The vinyl version has been approved and will begin production within the next 10 days.

The Decrepitaph/Eternal Solstice 7" split is now available. 

Decrepitaph delivers hammer-heavy track which showcases their down-tuned skills; pummeling the listener as they have since their debut full-length "Condemned Cathedrals" through their just released full-length titled "Profane Doctrines Unburied".

Eternal Solstice was active throughout the 90s; releasing three full-lengths culminating in 1997's "Demonic Fertilizer". Despite the 13-year absence, Eternal Solstice doesn't miss a beat while cruising their way through their first new material in over a decade!

This 7" is limited to 500 copies, 400 of which are on black vinyl and 100 on bronze vinyl. Each copy comes with a full-color glue pocket and insert. The bronze vinyl version is only available through the Dark Descent Records web store.

The Crypt ABSU Box Sets (02/09/2011)

For those of you who have ordered The Crypt's beautiful ABSU box set, these will begin shipping out on Thursday, Feb 10.  These are now sold out through Dark Descent Records and The Crypt.  Please check other distributors.

The next releases from The Crypt will be the Toxaemia - "Buried to Rise" 2LP and Obtained Enslavement - "Centuries of Sorrow" 2LP.  These will be available for pre-order soon.

Uncanny - MCMXCI - MCMXCIV 2CD Discography (01/27/2011)

Formed in Sweden in 1990, UNCANNY released two demos (1991's Transportation To The Uncanny and 1992's Nyktalgia), a split release in 1993 with ANCIENT RITES and one full-length in 1994 titled Splenium For Nyktophobia.

Uncanny combined the buzz from the Sunlight Studio with enough melodic elements to truly set them apart from the rest. Essential for any Swedish death metal fan!

For the first time ever, all one and a half hours of classic-era Swedish death metal will be released together on one double-disc package by Dark Descent Records.

Like the limited run 3LP Uncanny box set released by The Crypt in 2010, this 2CD will be titled MCMXCI - MCMXCIV and feature original artwork from Splenium For Nyktophobia as well as artwork from the demo era.

This epic release comes complete with a full-color 12-page booklet with gold metallic print on the cover, inlay and both CDs!
